This import will update the student’s Weekly Attendance data.

In ID Attend
1. Go to Reports Menu
2. Open Student Attendance Report
At Top Right
3. Select ALL Year levels at top right (comma separate each year for your whole school)
4. Tick “All Classes Summary”
At Left
5. Select date range (export only one week of data at a time)
6. Tick “Active Students Only”
7. Tick “Regard School Suspensions as an Approved Absence”
8. Tick “Do Not Count Exempt as an Absence”
9. Tick “Group by Year”
10. Click the “CSV File” button and save.

Use TrackEd template
1. On the “Import” screen, click the “Export Template” icon to place an empty Attend_alt.xlsx template on your desktop.
2. Paste your data into the template, keeping the columns in their original order.
3. Save the file as .xlsx

In TrackEd:
- On the Import screen, select the proper module (primary or secondary). (For versions 3.147 and newer, you’ll import the entire school in one import. You can do the import under any module you’d like)
- Select the import type (ID Attend)
- Drag the .csv file you created above into the box marked “drop file here”.
- Enter the Week, Term, and Year for the attendance data, not the graduating year. Selecting the correct period is very important. There is also an optional “Import Note” space, if you’d like to include an identifier for the import. This will be saved to the Import Log.
- You can download and import as many sets of Attendance data from One School as you’d like. Repeat steps 3 and 4 above to enter them. Each week should be a separate file.
- When you’ve entered all your attendance files, click the “Import” button, and follow the onscreen prompts.
