Tips Specific for in person workshop sessions
1. During the session you can either follow along with TrackEd open on your PC or watch the demo and take notes.
2. If you are follow along with TrackEd, please ensure you have FileMaker Pro installed on your PC before the session. Your school tech should be able to help
3. If using our demo dataset to follow along please arrive a little early to facilitate installing it on your PC before the session starts
4. If using your own school copy of TrackEd at the session, you must save a backup copy of TrackEd to your PC first. Your school tech should be able to help

5. Ensure your school version of TrackEd is fully updated so that it matches the demo
Tips Specific for remote 1:1 sessions…
1. Remember this is your session, for your team. If you have any input into the most helpful content please let us know prior to the session.
2. Ensure that the main screen share will be visible for all participants. That might be on a projector or TV, or with each participant using their own PC on teams. If having multiple connections please share the teams link prior to the scheduled time
3. Ensure that we can see your team. It is very helpful to be able to see those in the room rather than a sea of muted cameras or a single PC with one person from the group. This enables us to have a much more interactive session, so please leave your camera(s) on and facing the group/participants
4. If you want each participant to access your school TrackEd system during the session (this is optional), please check that you are running the latest version so that it matches our demo. Also please ask your tech to give each person a backup copy of TrackEd to open on their PC directly. A Backup copy removes performance issues with having everyone in one room, with one wifi hub, all pressing the same buttons at the same time.

5. If you have multiple connections to the Teams session, please make use of the chat feature. You can make comments on things that are helpful in your role and start dialog within the group. The transcript remains with the meeting for your access later
6. If you want the session recorded please let me know as we begin. This will be using the native Teams record feature and the link will be available in the chat after the session
7. After the session, reserve some time to play with TrackEd. The video training is available on this site
