This is the starting point for TrackEd’s video training series. It introduces how the training is organised, where to find each topic, and how to get the most out of the resources available on the support site.

Why use the training videos
The video training series is designed for a range of starting points. You might be reinforcing what you covered at a face-to-face workshop, getting started with TrackEd for the first time, or following up on a link from a colleague. Each video focuses on a specific topic and is kept short enough to fit into a spare moment during the day.
If you are looking for the fastest path to getting up and running, the Zero to Hero series covers the essentials in around 45 minutes. For a more complete walkthrough, the full video series goes deeper across every feature area.
How training topics are organised
Training topics are grouped under category headings. The main sections are: Introducing TrackEd (this article and the next few), Importing Data, TrackEd Basics (covering the interface and core navigation), Senior Schooling (for staff working with QCE, ATAR, and VET data), and Popular Features (organised by area: curriculum, coaching, engagement, wellbeing, learning support, enrolment, and transition).
There is also a section on Planning Resources for schools rolling out TrackEd, and a dedicated set of videos for technicians covering installation and server configuration. Workshop slides and a printable topic sheet are available from the Training Resources page. Topics are colour-coded on the printed sheet to help you find the right section quickly.
Quick start and deep dive videos
Some of the more involved topics have two videos: a quick start and a deep dive. The quick start covers what most people need to know to use the feature. The deep dive goes further into detail for those who want a more thorough understanding or who are responsible for configuring that feature at their school.
For most users, the quick start video is enough to get going. You can always come back to the deep dive later if you need more detail.
Accessing the support site
All training videos and articles are hosted at support.trackedapp.com.au. The site is searchable, so you can look up a specific topic by keyword if you know what you are after. Within each article you can search for words or phrases as well. New videos have a full transcript and you can click on the words to jump to that point in the video.
You can also reach the support site directly from within TrackEd. On the home page, there is a blue link in the top-left corner that opens the training site in your browser. From there, topics are listed under the same category headings described above. The next articles in this series cover Installation Overview and Important Resources.
